Glasnost means transparency. Knowing that female patients suffering from symptoms which indicate an iron deficiency can mostly be healed by iron dispensation, we must rethink. This word shaped by Gorbachev („one has to call a spade a spade“) caused a reorientation in Switzerland within few years.

 

Perestroika

 

Perestroika means reorganization. Knowing that most of said concerned persons can be healed with short term iron infusions, we give them the missing iron. In doing so, we switch from the symptom suppressing measures hitherto practiced in palliative medicine to curative means: We give the patients the missing element and most of them become healthy almost automatically.

 

Palliative means: Intention to alleviate.

Curative means: Intention to heal.
